R.I.C.E.
ARG! I can't figure out what exactly I pulled, but I did something! My groin or something.... It happend around a week and a half or so ago. This past Saturday's long run was not fun for me. So, I've been using the R.IC.E. Philosophy:
Rest
Ice
Compress
Elevate
This really sucks. It even hurts to do pilates.
As the famous Jerry Springer says: "Take care of yourself and eachother!"

I could tell you weren't having fun on Sat, so keep RICE'g b/c I want want back the old Christal this Saturday!
The same thing happened to me about three-four weeks ago after I got back from Sunmart. Plus my legs have been hurting more than usual. I finally decided to wear different shoes at our Tuesday run and that made a huge difference even though I am still sore. I have 500 miles on my shoes. I think it is time for me to visit Kathy for new shoes.
It will likely take at least 2 or 3 weeks before it is back to normal, maybe as long as 6 weeks, depending on what you strained and how badly. In the meantime keep running easily as you are able. As Kathy always says, "Listen to your body."
I strained quads and something in the groin area of my right leg last fall, and I was able to keep running, but I cut my mileage in half and also reduced intensity. It took about 6 weeks before I was pain free. Also, I strained something behind my left knee just before Thanksgiving. Again I reduced my training, and now 6 weeks later I am pretty much back to normal.
Even though it sucks, be patient, and you will return to normal.
Thanks everyone for your comments and ideas. I've been running/walking on my treadmill and being pretty dedicated on taking care of it, so hopefully soon it will go away.
:) Thanks friends!
